The National Association of Legal Search Consultants
is the only organization representing the legal search profession. The organization is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards by requiring adherence of its members to the NALSC Code of Ethics®.
NALSC currently is comprised of 300+ member firms and individuals from all over the United States and Canada, as well as other international locations. An increasing number of legal employers incorporate a clause requiring adherence to the NALSC Code of Ethics® in their recruitment contracts.
NALSC is committed to fostering belonging and inclusion in all of its efforts, both within the Organization, among our Members and Sponsors, and in our work in the attorney lateral market.
NALSC is governed by an elected Board of Directors led by President Melissa Peters of MP Legal Search. Stephanie Ankus, a long time NALSC member, is NALSC’s Executive Director. Stephanie was previously NALSC’s Account Executive in Headquarters. She graduated from Brandeis University with a concentration in Computer Science and earned her M.B.A. (with a concentration in accounting/finance) from NYU. Prior to joining the firm, she worked on Wall Street as a financial analyst with Credit Suisse/First Boston, a financial specialist with FMC Corporation in Philadelphia and a senior financial analyst with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in Miami. Stephanie is a native of Cherry Hill, NJ who enjoys art, gardening, fishing, logic puzzles, creating customized crosswords, and most of all family.
